On March 17th, the 26th China Xiamen International Stone Fair entered its second day. The fair’s popularity continued to rise, with fruitful results in international exchange and industry matchmaking. On the same day, a delegation of over 20 people, comprised of representatives from the South Korean Stone Industry Cooperative, the South Korean Stone Newspaper, and more than ten South Korean stone companies, made a special trip to Shuitou, a major stone-producing town in Nan’an, China. They conducted on-site inspections of the stone market, visited leading enterprises, and promoted in-depth exchanges and practical cooperation between the Chinese and South Korean stone industries.<\/p>\n
As a leading global professional stone fair, the Xiamen International Stone Fair has become an important bridge connecting the Chinese and international stone industries. This year’s fair brought together global stone resources, technologies, and buyers, attracting industry professionals from over 120 countries and regions. The South Korean stone industry has always been a significant force in the Asia-Pacific region. This delegation’s visit to Shuitou aimed to gain a deeper understanding of the current development status of China’s stone industry clusters, connect with high-quality production capacity and supply chains, and explore multi-dimensional cooperation opportunities in trade, technology, and markets.<\/p>\n
The delegation visited several large stone enterprises in Shuitou, including Huahui Stone, Dongsheng Stone, and Yingliang Group, delving into production workshops, finished product showrooms, and logistics warehousing areas to gain a detailed understanding of the entire stone mining, processing, design, and sales chain operation model.<\/p>\n
At Guangming Stone Industry Co., Ltd., Chairman Huang Mingjing personally received the delegation, systematically introducing the development history of Shuitou’s stone industry from its inception to its current scale, as well as its experience and achievements in industrial upgrading, green manufacturing, brand building, and global trade. In particular, under government guidance, the company has vigorously promoted the intelligent transformation of production equipment, comprehensively introducing green and efficient processing technologies such as wire saws, significantly improving yield, reducing energy consumption and noise, and achieving a dual improvement in resource utilization and environmental benefits. Simultaneously, it has cultivated the high-end market, extending from slab supply to high-value-added areas such as original design, high-end home furnishings, and artistic decoration, continuously improving product quality and brand value. Subsequently, the delegation visited Guangming Stone City, listening to the company’s introduction regarding product research and development, production capacity, market layout, and quality control, and highly praised Guangming Stone Industry’s full-chain operation capabilities and international vision.<\/p>\n
During the visit, Chinese and South Korean representatives engaged in in-depth exchanges on multiple topics. The South Korean representatives stated that Shuitou, as a world-class stone industry cluster, boasts a complete industrial chain, mature supporting facilities, and outstanding enterprise strength, serving as a microcosm of the high-quality development of China’s stone industry. Through on-site visits, they directly experienced the technological strength and market vitality of Chinese stone enterprises, laying a solid foundation for future cooperation. The head of Guangming Stone Industry expressed their willingness to use this exchange as an opportunity to strengthen regular cooperation with the South Korean stone industry, working together in areas such as resource complementarity, technological cooperation, and market sharing to promote the win-win development of the Chinese and South Korean stone industries.<\/p>\n
This visit to Shuitou by the South Korean stone delegation vividly demonstrates how the Xiamen Stone Fair drives industrial linkages and promotes international cooperation.
