On February 8th, a delegation from the Spanish Fujian Chinese Chamber of Commerce, led by President Chen Xinzhao, Executive Chairman Chi Caiping, and Secretary-General Chen Zhongzhi, visited the Shuitou Stone Expo Center for on-site research. Qiu Xueliang, Vice Mayor of Nan’an Municipal People’s Government, along with relevant officials from the Municipal Bureau of Commerce and Shuitou Town, accompanied the delegation and held discussions.
As a significant trendsetter in the global stone industry, the 25th China (Nan’an) Shuitou International Stone Expo is scheduled to be held from November 8th to 11th, 2026, with the main venue newly upgraded to the Shuitou Stone Expo Center. This year’s expo focuses on “new venue, new positioning, and new trends,” with a planned exhibition area of 72,000 square meters, featuring eight professional exhibition areas. It aims to create a three-in-one exhibition and trade platform integrating “experience + sales + exhibition,” building a multi-industry integrated stone industry ecosystem.
The delegation visited the construction site of the venue, gaining a detailed understanding of the project’s progress, spatial layout, and functional planning. They also engaged in in-depth discussions on topics such as international investment promotion, cross-border trade connections, and the establishment of overseas cooperation platforms. The delegation highly praised the high-standard planning, comprehensive supply chain, and global positioning of the Shuitou Stone Expo Center, believing its hardware facilities and operational philosophy have reached world-class exhibition standards.
The delegation stated that Nan’an, as the “World Stone Capital,” possesses a solid industrial foundation, a complete supply chain, and strong innovation vitality, exhibiting strong complementarity and broad cooperation potential with the European building materials market. The Chamber of Commerce will leverage the 25th Stone Expo as an opportunity to actively build bridges for Sino-Western economic and trade cooperation, promoting resource integration, design co-creation, and trade exchange in the stone and home building materials sectors, helping Shuitou stone brands to cultivate the European market and expand globally.
Leveraging the newly opened Stone Expo Center, this year’s Stone Expo will establish a global experience center for stone and home aesthetics, innovatively launching a “1+365-day never-ending exhibition and trade” model. This model organically combines a short-term event with year-round operation, creating an international industrial hub integrating display, trade, exchange, and incubation.
The visit of the Spanish delegation is both an affirmation of the Shuitou Stone Expo’s internationalization level and a strong impetus for the expo’s global business development. In the future, the Shuitou Stone Expo Center will continue to deepen international cooperation, facilitate domestic and international trade, and become an important window for China’s stone industry to connect with the world and promote industrial integration.
